Film Structure Narrative structure is about story and plot: the content of a story and the form used to tell the story. Story refers to the dramatic action as it might be described in chronological order. Plot refers to how the story is told. Story is about trying to determine the key conflicts, main characters, setting and events. Plot is about how, and at what stages, the key conflicts are set up and resolved.  A typical movie is said to have three acts , but this is not a steadfast rule. Film acts are not defined as strictly as play or TV show acts, which are set off with act breaks. T he characters, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the resolution. These essential elements keep the story running smoothly and allow the action to develop in a logical way that the reader can follow. However, a few of the common factors that contribute to a successful film include: a compelling storyline, a well written script, great actors who have a reach to the audience, a visionary direc

NFL: Week 11 There might not be a better closer in the NFL than Tennessee Titan’s  running back Derrick Henry . After his 29-yard sprint to beat the Baltimore Ravens  on Sunday, Henry now has two   overtime touchdowns on the season. He is only the third player in the past 30 years to score multiple overtime touchdowns in the same season, joining former Chicago Bears  safety Mike Brown  (2001) and former Pittsburgh Steelers  running back Jerome Bettis (1997).  Henry, who rushed for 133 yards in Week 11, typically plays his best football down the stretch. Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa saw his beginner's luck run dry in Week 11. After starting his NFL career with three straight wins, Tagovailoa was sacked six  times and benched in a 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Tagovailoa did not turn the ball over before veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick  relieved him in the fourth quarter, but he only completed 11 of his 20 pass attempts (55%) for 83 yards.

Ravens running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Thursday night's game against the Steelers, coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed to reporters on Monday. Ingram and Dobbins will be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Defensive tackle Brandon Williams will also go on the reserve list because he is considered a close contact.  Demographic Representation  Demographics is the study of a population based on factors such as age, race, and sex. Demographic data refers to socio-economic information expressed statistically, also including employment, education, income, marriage rates, birth and death rates and more factors. Governments, corporations, and nongovernment organizations use demographics to learn more about a population's characteristics for many purposes, including policy development and economic market research .  Those with the highest interest in the NFL were individuals between 45 and 54 years of age, followed by between 55 and 64, more than 65 years old, between 35 and 44 years of age, and between 25 and 34 years of age. By far, professional  football  is America's favorite sport. Earlier this year, Super Bowl LIII racked up 98.2 million viewers. Nearly half of all NFL fans are women (47 percent) and almost one in three NFL fans fall between the ages of 18 and 34 years of age.

Women in Media Media, including the Internet and social media play a major role as both a source of information and as a shaper of opinions. There is a gender equality dimension related to media as a profession as well as to media content. Regarding media as a profession, women are under-represented in media ownership, information production, and in decision-making positions. Gender inequalities are even more blatant in media content: women are under-represented from both a quantitative and a qualitative perspective. Women represent only about a quarter of the persons heard, read about or seen in the news, they are rarely represented in an expert capacity and some fields are still very male dominated. Gender roles are influenced by the media, family, environment, and society. A child's understanding of gender roles impacts how they socialize with their peers and form relationships. Many children have a firm sense of their gender identity, while some children can experience

Ethnic groups  Ethnic minority media, that is, media produced by and for ethnic minority groups generally offer more positive representations and a counter narrative to mainstream stereotypes but can also be prone to narrow typecasting and stereotype. The resulting pervasiveness of stereotyped representations across media formats and type is partly the outcome of complex media production processes, norms and values, commercial drivers, and a lack of ethnic minority media producers. Nonetheless, their impact, though hard to measure, is potentially significant. Mass media play a role in shaping collective identities and intergroup attitudes and, by typecasting certain groups, distort the picture that audiences see of different groups. There is evidence to suggest these skewed media representations can not only promote public hostility toward other ethnic groups but also lower ethnic minority individuals’ self-esteem. As a result, research into ways to combat stereotypes and promote more
