Camera Shots and Angles in my Magazine In the creation of my magazine, I managed to use my own pictures and put them into my magazine. They are different camera angles used between these pictures that I took. So far I have taken three of my own pictures and will need one more to reach my goal which is four pictures in my magazine in total. I’ll describe each of the camera angles for each of my own pictures taken.  This picture is one of the three pictures that i own and that I'm using in my magazine. The photo displays four football trophies, a statue in the middle, a bush on the right, and a shadow of another bush on its left. The camera angle used here was a low angle shot. The objects were already on ground level so i had to get even lower to be able to take the low angle shot. This is also a close up shot. This is another one of my three picture   I'm  using in my magazine. This photo shows my junior varsity football team in a huddle after we played our first jv football g

Magazine History The first American magazines were published in 1741. Philadelphia printers Andrew Bradford and Benjamin Franklin who owned rivaling newspapers both raced to publish the first American magazine. Bradford ultimately claimed the honor by publishing American Magazine first. Benjamin Franklin's General Magazine was published three days later.  Despite these short-lived ventures, magazines became incredibly popular in America. By the end of the 18th century, there were more than 100 magazines in the United States.  Sports Illustrated was first published in 1954. Initially, Sports Illustrated covered activities geared towards wealthy Americans, such as boating and playing polo. In the 1960s, journalist Andre Laguerre became the assistant managing editor of the fledging publication. Thanks to his leadership, the magazine began focusing on all major sports. Today, Sports Illustrated is famous for its sharp sports coverage.  Today, there are thousands of magazines worldwide

What I’ve learn in the Course... At the beginning of my Aice Media Studies class, I only knew little to nothing about the way a film was constructed or how to run a blog or even create a magazine. Whenever I watched movies or show, I never thought about camera angles, camera shots, or misc-en-scene. This course has taught me so many things that I would have not figured out on my own. Creating a magazine wasn’t as easy as i thought it would be. At first, I honestly thought this course was gonna be easy. “Create blogs and make a magazine”, easier said then done, it takes a whole process to conduct and creat a magazine. You would need to first have your idea, now you have to make that idea into a magazine. Creating a magazine requires creativity, organizing, lots of planning, text, pictures, and more. I’ve come along way from when i first got into this course and I only expect to grow and get better along the way.

My Magazine  In creating my magazine, I decided to be more creative and ease a little away from football. I can open up about my main topic and include more ideas to make the overall magazine a bit more interesting. Instead of being stuck on sports throughout my magazine, i can throw in a few things for fashion relating to players uniforms and go in to detail about different fashion in many sports teams and what their fashion represents. Although, the main topic will still be about sports overall, even when I include a little talk about fashion because it’s sports fashion. It may be even possible for me to pick out a few well known players and give some background information about them and their progress in their sports career. I will eventually think of a few more great ideas into making the best magazine that I can make. How does a design on a jersey represent the team?

Preliminary tasks: Magazine For my magazine, I am going to start by creating my cover for the magazine which is a single page. I will go on to creating my double page spread for each page of my magazine. Each double page spread will include information about my magazine topic which is sports. I will add pictures to every page or most pages and I will make each of my magazine pages creative and eye-catching to my viewers. I will continue on by making double page spreads and adding pictures, also, putting them in certain positions so that not all the pages look the same, it would be boring to to go through a magazine and see the same format for each page. My magazine will also include 4 of my own original picture toward the end of my magazine, I will start inputting a table of context which will be at the beginning of my magazine but right after the cover page. It would be easier for me to add the table of contexts after I know where everything is so that if I make changes on which page
