 Camera Shots and Angles in my Magazine

In the creation of my magazine, I managed to use my own pictures and put them into my magazine. They are different camera angles used between these pictures that I took. So far I have taken three of my own pictures and will need one more to reach my goal which is four pictures in my magazine in total. I’ll describe each of the camera angles for each of my own pictures taken. 


This picture is one of the three pictures that i own and that I'm using in my magazine. The photo displays four football trophies, a statue in the middle, a bush on the right, and a shadow of another bush on its left. The camera angle used here was a low angle shot. The objects were already on ground level so i had to get even lower to be able to take the low angle shot. This is also a close up shot.



This is another one of my three picture I'm
 using in my magazine. This photo shows my junior varsity football team in a huddle after we played our first jv football game. Yes, we won that game. The camera shot used here in a full shot. The pictures includes the football team and staff, a field in the back, a score board, and lots of trees in the distance. This photo might also be seen as a long shot or wide shot.


This photo is the last photo that i own and that I'm using in creating my magazine. This photo is a picture of me at one of my varsity football games. It views the left side of my body and my head is a little tilted down. The camera was mainly focused on me but if look closely at the background, you can see a few fences. The camera shot used here was a medium shot.

 #1. How was your experience in creating your blog/magazine? I was a little lost in almost everything throughout this course but I still managed to get things done. I definitely would say that I learned a lot of things throughout the year. I came into this class not knowing a single thing about making a blog or a magazine.  #4. How will you use what you've learned? Throughout this course, I have definitely taken in a lot of new things in the past few months. I was tough to analyze film and media and I also learned many different elements in mise- en-scene and camera angles.  Studying film  and theater has its perks, I will now appreciate movies and plays even more, and I will undoubtedly see more movies than before; the visual details, and the social and political themes are all vital when it comes to understanding the world around us. Now when I see any movie or film, I automatically start thinking of hidden elements or any hints in the film. I have been more used to seeing a film and analyzing it. As I go on in life, I will start to become more familiar with many films and I will be able to learn a lot just by watching more films.  #2. What was the inspiration behind your blog/magazine? When I first started out creating my blog, I was stuck on what I should do. I wasn't sure that I would be able to come up with something that I could work on throughout the course of this class. So I started to think more in depth about things that I like. Writing about something that I like would ensure that I have fun while working on my blog. So, I thought about a few ideas. My first idea was to actually make a blog based off of gaming, but I figured that I would run out of ideas fast. So at that point, I just wanted my blog to be something that could last long and something that I love doing. That's when it came to me, I love sports and I love talking about sports, so why not make that the topic for my blog?
